I completed my undergraduate work at New York University. I'm now studying medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. My tutoring career dates back to high school where I participated in the ARISTA program. I then got involved with private tutoring sessions for four years in New York. I previously worked for a private tutoring for a year and took a break when I began med school in 2012. Now that I have more free time available, I'd like to go back to tutoring. I'm adept in helping students learn a variety of subjects ranging from basic biology and geometry to calculus and algebra. I choose to follow a more interactive and hands-on approach to teaching rather than stand in front of the students talking. I aspire to help students build solid fundamentals in the area they are challenged by. I like to prepare students for independent success in arriving at a solution on their own. I feel this approach encourages students to enjoy learning and also helps them become more open to learning in the classroom. Outside the classroom, I enjoy following and playing football and basketball, indulging in new dishes, traveling, and catching up with my friends.
